Tracing the Quran is a method used for years to transmit, memorize and preserve the Quran. I give you 6 benefits of tracing right here:
1 – Spend more time with the Quran
By tracing the Quran, you give yourself additional time with it. Every letter you read, every minute you spend studying it, will be rewarded on the Day of Judgment bi idhni Allah.
2 - Develop Arabic writing
If Arabic is not your mother tongue, and you do not use it on a daily basis, tracing the Quran will allow you to improve your calligraphy by going over each letter.
3 - Increase your vocabulary
As you continue tracing, you will realize that the Quran often uses similar words that you will find several times. Over time, writing them down will become familiar with them and help you remember them. In shaa Allah, you will soon be able to understand several words of the Quran!
4 – Memorize, revise
This method has proven itself to enable effective learning and review of the Quran. It is still used in North and West Africa by thousands of students!
5 – Reduced stress
Going over the letters allows you to become aware of each letter, each word, each verse... You connect completely, deeply and take your time to appreciate each letter you trace.
6 - Intercession
Every second spent in worship will be rewarded. Put good intention into this activity and make your hand and the Quran witnesses who will intercede for you on the Day of Retribution.
